SNEAK PEEK: WARDROBE DRESS PICKS

"Fashion can be bought. Style one must possess." is the saying by Edna Woolman Chase. There's no arguing the truth in this statement. I'm a true believer in being comfortable in what you wear, expressing yourself through fashion as an art form. It's all well and good being inspired by celebrity style and looks from off the runway, but one must learn to interpret them and make it true to their own. Once you find your signature style, tailored to your tastes and personality, there is nothing more satisfying than knowing how to dress for yourself. A style that is personal and unique to you & you only.

It took a while for me to develop my own style and to truly know what inspires me. Iconic women of the 1950s & 60s are all that my inspiration dreams of, women who couldn't have suppressed their grace, elegance, finesse and beauty even if they tried, women which no modern day princess could ever rival. Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly. These were the women that were the epitome of sophistication, defining femininity.

When I am on the hunt for the perfect dress for an event, I look for good tailoring and structure and a feminine design, taking inspiration from the 50s & 60s. Here is a sneak peek into my wardrobe and picks of a few of my favourite dresses!
