A weekend away to Paris seemed like the perfect getaway from London so almost two weeks ago, my friend, Amber & I packed our bags and jumped on the Eurostar, in desperate need of a short break from our lives back home here in London. Proving to be the perfect brand to globally promote and commercialise eclectic British fashion and creativity, Christopher Bailey, Chief Creative Officer of Burberry, set a new high standard for what is arguably the most eccentric and flamboyant fashion week of the four major capitals.

From luxury statement necklaces to neon-beaded cuffs and divine bridal headpieces, the designs' prices range from £32 - £490. Her collection has luxury and glamour in all its elements....any girl would feel a million dollars wearing one of the stunning pieces. It exudes grace and elegance. Delicate detail and Degas-inspired, the designs don't fail to catch the admiring eyes of romantics.

LOUIS VUITTON: CRUISE COLLECTION 2012

 

A few months ago, Louis Vuitton released their Cruise Collection 2012, modelled by the stunning Arizona Muse. Until now, I never really had the chance to fully appreciate the beautifully crafted and stylishly designed collection by Marc Jacobs. The Cruise line bridges the Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter shows, capturing Parisian essence with inspiration from American screenwriter and film director, Sofia Coppola.

APARTMENT THERAPY: CALM COURTYARD

 

 

I came across this courtyard design on Apartment Therapy's website. I love the way the small space has been used and in fact because of this it looks really homely. The use of the aqua blue colour with the coral orange against the white wicker furniture creates a very beachy Californian feel. The white hanging lanterns on the trees make the place look very calm and peaceful. Keeping it simple and stylish....a girl's paradise!
